Travertine Cuts

Travertine is a popular natural stone that can be used on floors, walls and even bath and showers. This stone can be cut two different ways to give it two completely different looks. The vein cut is the most popular cut of travertine. The block is cut parallel to expose the veins of the stone. This results in a linear design. Cross cut is cutting across the bedding and reveals a circular pattern in the stone.  Both cuts have natural holes that can be filled with resin, cement or unfilled. Both cuts are stunning, it just depends on what fits best for your style.
